Tom Angus

Tom completed his B.E.-Civil in 1973 and commenced work as a cadet at Hunter Water and went on to a successful career in hydraulic/hydrological engineering and major civil construction with various private consultants and local government bodies before retirement.

He a past player of the club between 1971-1984, played 201 first grade games and led the club to a premiership in 1984. Tom was awarded a University Blue, University Colour and is a Life Member of UoN Rugby.

Paul Tracey

Paul is an experienced educator having held positions as a Principal in high schools and State Training Services before retirement.

His association with UoN Rugby dates back to 1978 and his involvement has been as a player, coach, manager and committee member and scholarship co-ordinator. In 1979 Paul was selected for the prestigious award of Clubman of the Year.


Stephen Johnston

Buddha holds a B.Comm (Distinction) and B.Law graduating in 2015 and currently works for the ATO.

Originally from Tamworth he started playing rugby when he was 16 years old and has played over 100 games for the club from Colts to Premier 1. A bad run of injuries led Buddha to serve the club off the field and in the past has served as Club President, Co Club Captain and was awarded Clubman of the year in 2014 and 2015.


Robert Walsh

Rob completed his Bachelor of Construction Management (Honours) and currently works as a construction estimator and project co-ordinator.

He commenced playing with the club in the 2013 Colts team before graduating to the First XV in 201 4 and has been a regular member of 1st and 2nd grade since. Off the field Rob has been UoN Student Club delegate and treasurer and was voted Club Person of the Year in 2018.

Dane Le Rougetel

Dane completed his teaching degree in 2012 and currently works at Callaghan College Wallsend teaching History and Geography.

He is holds ARU Level II Accreditation and has played over 330 games including 100 games with Southern Beaches Jnr and Snrs, Terrigal, Manly, Amsterdam Athletic and is the current first grade captain. He was also selected to represent Australian Country Stockman in 2018 playing 2 games against the Western Force.
